How to Report an Error

If you spot inaccurate information on HomeySpec — an incorrect spec, outdated price, broken link, or factual mistake — please let us know via our Contact Us page.

To help us resolve it quickly, please include:

  • The URL of the page in question
  • A clear description of the error
  • A source or reference supporting the correction, if available

Our Review Process

When we receive a correction request, we:

  1. Review the reported issue against our original sources and, where possible, current manufacturer or retailer data
  2. Verify the correction independently rather than making changes based solely on an unverified claim
  3. Update the article if the correction is confirmed
  4. Respond to the person who reported the issue, where contact information was provided

We aim to review correction requests within [5–7 business days].

How We Make Corrections

  • Minor corrections (e.g., a typo, a broken link, an updated price) are corrected directly without a formal notice.
  • Substantive corrections (e.g., a materially incorrect specification, an incorrect product recommendation, or a factual error that could affect a reader’s decision) are corrected in the article, and where appropriate, we note that an update was made along with the date.

Outdated Content

Because product availability and pricing change often, older articles may contain information that is no longer current even without being factually “wrong” at the time of writing. We periodically review and refresh older content, prioritizing our most-read guides.
